- I will show this by answering ACT English- style questions and writing a story using apostrophes correctly.
Homework:
- In your notebook, write a 5-sentence story that uses the following:
- 1 singular possessive apostrophe (Veronica’s parents; the cake’s flavor)
- 1 plural possessive apostrophe (the two brothers’ argument; women’s restroom)
- 1 contraction (shouldn’t; Class of ‘19)
- correct use of it’s/its, they’re/their, or you’re/your (must use both words in the pair)
